Warehouse Administrator SECONDMENT We have an exciting opportunity for one flexible and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Warehouse Administrator at our partly automated warehouse for Wincanton, on behalf of B&Q. The Role • To undertake the day to day functions within the administration department ensuring all targets are met and the highest standards of quality, stock accuracy / integrity & hygiene are maintained to ensure all management and customer expectations are achieved; • Undertake all training offered to become multi-skilled and have the ability to operate within any department; • Ensure full compliance of SSOW, procedures and ensure that the highest level of service to both internal and external customers; • Ensure the administration department meets all requirements by completing each function to the highest quality standards; • To be responsible for the health and safety of self and your colleagues by ensuring all tasks are carried out to the relevant procedures and by adhering to safe working practices at all times; • Ensure a high level of communication between colleagues and management is maintained and information flow is of the highest standard; • Any problems or queries should be raised with your immediate line manager in the first instance; • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn where appropriate, at all times; • Report all accidents, incidents, hazards and near misses to an FLM immediately; • Ensure that a high level of housekeeping and hygiene is maintained in all areas at all times; • Maintain customer service levels within own areas of responsibility; • Maintain all areas of shift administration; • Any other reasonable request within the scope of the position. The Person • Able to build team & customer relationships; • Applicants must be flexible in their approach to work; • Applicants must be able to demonstrate relevant experience to work in a fast moving & changing logistics operation; • Applicants must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Power point packages; • Applicants must have the ability to problem solve and use their own initiative; • Applicants must have the ability to maintain high standards whilst working under pressure and to deadlines; • Applicants must be able to provide exceptional organisational and administrative skills; • Applicants must be an effective communicator and be able to develop good working relationships at all levels; • Resilient and persuasive with peers and managers; • Confidentiality and discretion are essential.
