NIGHT SHIFT CNC SWISS LATHE MACHINIST – GAISHIN MANUFACTURING (GRAND RAPIDS, MI) Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM Pay Range: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience) Location: Grand Rapids, MI ---------------------------------------- ABOUT US Gaishin Manufacturing is a family-owned precision CNC machining company serving the aerospace, medical, defense, and commercial industries. We believe great companies are built around great people and are committed to creating a workplace where individuals can grow, take initiative, and be part of a winning team. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO * Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style and mill/turn lathes (Citizen and DMG MORI). * Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances. * Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and setup sheets. * Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. * Troubleshoot setups and make offset adjustments to maintain part quality and efficiency. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and Lean principles. ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * 2+ years of CNC machining experience (Swiss or mill/turn preferred). * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. * Ability to read blueprints and understand geometric tolerancing. * Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented. * Willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative. ---------------------------------------- BENEFITS * Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance * 401(k) with Company Match * Paid Time Off * Professional Development & Growth Opportunities * Supportive, Family-Oriented Culture
