EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working on some or all of our aircraft fleet or aircraft with similar complexity
  • Excellent aptitude and handskills
  • For AMEs, a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent
  • Ability to study and pass any relevant exams, including type courses
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • A valid driver’s licence or ability to obtain one
  • The ability to obtain and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking B1 (mechanical) Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) to join us at our Darwin and Alice Springs bases.
You will work closely with our experienced LAMEs to conduct line and base maintenance on our extensive fleet of aircraft.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role, you will be responsible for:

  • Adhering to all company procedures, including our Safety and Quality Management Systems and our Approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (AMOE)
  • Working efficiently and effectively to perform aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance in accordance with all instructions for continuing airworthiness/maintenance data
  • Reporting all defects or faults identified during the course of aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance
  • As a LAME, certifying for aircraft maintenance and issuing certificates of release to service
