Salary range
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 depending on experienceLocation: Remote-first, with optional London office accessContract: Permanent, full-time
We’re working with a growing B2B Green Tech business operating across international markets to hire a Marketing & Communications Manager.
About the companyOur client is a growing, purpose-led technology business working within the industrial and sustainability space. The company operates internationally and has a small, experienced team spanning commercial, technical and specialist functions.
The marketing and communications function is still developing, so this person will have plenty of visibility and ownership while working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications. The business is remote-first, with optional access to a London office and quarterly team meetings in London.
About the roleThis is a hands-on, content-led role for someone who is an exceptionally strong writer and enjoys turning technical or complex subject matter into clear, engaging communications. It would suit someone from a PR, content marketing, editorial or broader communications background who wants genuine ownership of their work without moving into a heavily strategic or team-management role.
The company works with external specialists for areas including media outreach and design, so you DO NOT need an established journalist network or graphic-design capability.
Experience requiredThe biggest priority is writing quality. You’ll need to be capable of producing strong first drafts that require relatively little editing, and comfortable taking a brief and running with it rather than needing extensive day-to-day supervision.
You’ll ideally bring:
Experience within energy, sustainability, maritime, engineering, industrials, infrastructure or another technical B2B sector would be particularly useful.
You’ll need to be comfortable working in a relatively small business where people are trusted to take ownership, ask sensible questions and get things done.
