OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Marketing/Database Manager to help drive our growth and expand our client base, focused on our suite of digital engagement solutions.
Black Sun Global is a leading international agency specialising in stakeholder engagement and strategic communications. As Growth Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospects, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of our agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for our stakeholder engagement solutions through digital channels
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential new clients
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders in client and prospect organisations
  • Qualify leads to ensure that any opportunities that come in are high quality and fall within our new client criteria
  • Understand and articulate our clients and prospects challenges and then confidently communicate how our tailored solutions can address their specific business objectives and stakeholder engagement requirements
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to inform business development strategies
  • Develop compelling outbound email campaigns with the aim of securing high quality new business meetings
  • Bring new insight, ideas and creativity to our approach and devise new ways to target prospective clients
  • Support the team on new business pitches to include; making sure they are well briefed; bid management; RFI/ITT completion; project management, following up on meetings and gathering feedback
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven track record in consultative sales, preferably in digital communications or stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding of strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and communications channels, in particular corporate websites, corporate social media, and intranets
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly grasp our proposition and articulate its value compellingly
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with senior-level executives
  • Strong analytical skills for market research and opportunity identification
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development or corporate communications
  • Demonstrated success in new business meetings or exceeding KPI’s
  • Knowledge of the stakeholder engagement and strategic communications landscape
