ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced B2B marketer who brings insight, initiative, and a forward-looking approach. You’ll deliver the annual marketing plan in close collaboration with the CMO, content marketing manager, and events managers, ensuring campaigns, communications, and engagement are fully joined-up and commercially impactful.
You’ll be promoting a varied mix of activities — from our flagship CxO Board Subscription, to consulting services and our high-profile events programme. The role spans the full marketing mix — campaign planning and delivery, performance tracking, and optimisation — with exceptional writing ability as a core strength. You’ll produce clear, precise, and engaging copy across campaigns, web, email, event materials, and social channels, while leading communications for our events to maximise delegate engagement.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, proactive, and commercially-minded marketer with 5–10 years’ experience in professional services, consultancy, insights, or another intellectually-driven B2B environment. You’ll combine a “player/manager” mindset — confident contributing to leadership discussions and owning the plan — with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute. Strong academic grounding (likely degree-level in a subject involving analytical or conceptual thinking), a flair for language, and excellent written communication will come as standard, alongside a commitment to quality and best practice.
You’ll be a natural collaborator, adept at navigating cross-functional relationships with business development, research, content, and events teams, and comfortable working with senior stakeholders, agencies, and external partners. While the CMO sets overall strategy, your ability to think ahead, spot opportunities, and contribute ideas will be valued — and for the right person, there is clear scope to grow into a broader strategic role over time.
If you bring curiosity, initiative, strong ownership, and the ability to deliver meaningful, measurable results, you’ll find this a rare opportunity to make a visible impact, shape the future of marketing in a high-quality, entrepreneurial business, and grow with the organisation.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
We’re seeking a highly proactive, strategic and insight-driven marketing manager who can confidently own, lead, and evolve our marketing plan. You’ll have a keen understanding of campaign performance, creative direction, and cross-team collaboration. You must bring energy, initiative, and analytical rigour to the table.
