OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive B2B Sales & Business Development professional to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing relationships with overseas freight forwarders, international moving partners, and global mobility providers, as well as managing our LinkedIn company page to nurture leads. This role requires strong negotiation skills, excellent relationship management, and a thorough understanding of international freight forwarding, relocation, and supply chain processes.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in freight forwarding, international moving/relocation, or shipping sales (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of import/export processes, ocean freight, air cargo, and global relocation logistics.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close partnerships in the B2B logistics and mobility space.
  • Experience with LinkedIn page management and social media lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and develop relationships with overseas freight forwarders, moving agents, and relocation/mobility partners to generate new business opportunities.
  • Actively prospect via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events to connect with potential partners.
  • Present and promote Metropolitan Logistics’ full service offerings, including freight forwarding, international relocation, and global mobility solutions.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, rates, and terms with overseas agents and moving partners.
  • Maintain strong follow-up and account management with new and existing partners.
  • Manage and maintain our LinkedIn company page, posting relevant content and engaging with followers to nurture inbound leads.
  • Be proactive and consistently engage with potential partners globally, adapting outreach to different time zones to maximize international business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
