Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivating, influencing and securing sales with SME customers directly through a combination of self-generated leads, warmed up data and opportunities
  • Understanding of the tariff options available
  • Identify customer requirements and demonstrate strong account management skills to drive good customer experience and closure
  • Manage sales pipelines effectively to ensure targets are achieved
  • Liaise with colleagues to develop comprehensive strategies to attain renewal customers
  • Maintain effective communication with existing customers to enhance renewal opportunities and maximise upsell potential
  • Handle a wide range of complex written and/or verbal enquiries, complaints and requests for advice as and when necessary
  • Identify trends in customer issues, alerting line manager with proposals for improvement
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls, identifying customer requirements by providing a polite, professional and accurate response in line with agreed service standards

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales to direct customers is essential.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices.
  • Good knowledge and experience of customer objection handling.
  • Strength in problem solving with the ability to work in a target-driven work environment
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Goal oriented with a passion for driving business growth
