JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in teaching swimming or coaching sports is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of swimming techniques and safety protocols is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to the needs of each participant, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
  • Assess students’ progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly to maximise their development.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant presence during lessons.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, fostering their confidence and skills in the water.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to promote swimming programmes and events within the community.
