· You will have an STA Aquatic Teaching Baby and Pre-School Swimming or Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers qualification
· A successful record of teaching children to swim

· A natural coach who takes pride in planning and delivering pool lessons
· Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
· Ability to interact and communicate effectively with parents
· A genuine passion and active involvement in poolside activities

JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for people to deliver exceptional swimming lessons for Total Fitness members and non-members, to ensure the correct swimming safety procedures are always followed and to provide excellent customer service, making a difference to people’s lives through teaching them to swim.
We recognise that members require post lesson feedback which we allow for in our scheduling, each lesson is 30 minutes + 10 minutes feedback, your time fully paid for.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

• Deliver lessons in accordance with association guidelines
• Create a fun and positive pool experience
• Guarantee the highest levels of safety at every session
• Support the PXM (Poolside Experience Manager) with any queries regarding member progress
• Maintain accurate records of all members
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardian of babies/toddlers participating in lessons
