Description
Hamilton Aquatics is looking for a passionate and nurturing Baby Swimming Teacher to deliver high‑quality swimming lessons for babies and toddlers. This role focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes early water confidence, development, and positive parent–child interaction, while maintaining strong operational and safety standards. Key Objectives Plan and deliver safe, engaging, and age-appropriate Little Swimmers lessons in line with the Hamilton Aquatics scheme of work, assessment criteria, and quality standards. Create a welcoming, calm, and secure poolside environment, ensuring equipment, facilities, and teaching areas are clean, safe, and suitable for babies and parents. Support water confidence, early movement skills, sensory development, and positive parent–child interaction, providing clear guidance and reassurance to parents during lessons. Maintain accurate administrative records, including attendance, progress tracking, bookings, and swimmer information, using Hamilton Bay systems. Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, carers, colleagues, and site stakeholders to build trust, engagement, and long-term retention. Uphold high standards of health, safety, safeguarding, and child protection, responding appropriately to incidents and escalating concerns as required. Contribute to programme promotion, quality assurance, team development, and positive relationships with host sites and partners.
