Job Description Overview of duties: Supporting the Lab Manager in research- develop operation: chromatography and other test Analysing & ensuring smooth workflows, maintaining top-tier quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in testing excellence. General duties: 1. Research & develop method: Guide and support Leaders in developing, verifying, and validating testing methods, as well as implementing new projects. Plan a key role in the research and development of new methods. Validation new methods and report on implementation results. Train and transfer methods to ensure routine operation for all team members. Ensure documentation accuracy — review all lab documents (procedures, SOPs, work instructions, forms, method validations) prior to final approval by the Manager. 2. Daily Operations Perform chromatography analysis and perform assigned tests. Lead and supervise the laboratory team to conduct tests accurately and deliver independent, timely reports. Review complex or abnormal test results before issue results Enhance lab operations by improving equipment usage, testing methods, workflows, consumables, and (semi-)automation to increase productivity and optimize costs. Provide training on technical knowledge, SOPs, work instructions, QC practices, and equipment operation for all lab members. Report regularly to the Manager on daily operations and key updates. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager to support divisional activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytical Chemistry Minimum 4 years in a food testing laboratory environment Fluent in English (minimum B level or equivalent across all 4 skills) Proficiency in chromatography techniques and principles. Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment operation, quality control, and assurance processes. Solid understanding of laboratory safety regulations and protocols. Solid understanding of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication — both written and verbal.
