Senior Back End Engineer (Insurance - Mandatory)🚨 Insurance industry experience is a mandatory requirement. Applications without insurance sector experience cannot be considered.
We're hiring a Senior Back End Engineer to help design, build and scale secure, high-performance platforms that power critical customer and business services within a leading insurance organisation.
What you'll be doing:✅ Designing and developing scalable back-end systems and APIs✅ Building secure, resilient, cloud-based applications✅ Collaborating with Product, Architecture, DevOps and Engineering teams in an Agile environment✅ Driving engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD✅ Contributing to technical strategy, performance optimisation and platform reliabilityWhat we're looking for:✔ Strong commercial experience as a Back End Engineer or Software Engineer using back-end programming languages and frameworks such as Java, C#, .NET, Node.js, Python, or equivalent technologies✔ Expertise in modern back-end development and API design✔ Experience building cloud-native, scalable and secure applications✔ Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing and DevOps principles✔ Experience working within Agile delivery teams
