Sleed, a web development & digital marketing agency with extensive field experience and a strategic partnership with Prestashop & Google, awarded for the 4th time as e-business and e-commerce agency of the year, is looking for a Back End Developer to join the team. If you love spending time using code, visual editors and programming languages to create beautiful stuff that people use to make their life easier, we want to meet you! We are looking for a new team member that has a passion for web programming and wants to join a team that creates all sorts of web applications, e-shops, websites, dashboards or even entire platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in development with the use of web languages (PHP is what we do), while knowledge and/or experience in e-commerce platforms (ideally PrestaShop & Shopify) will be highly appreciated. The primary tasks that will make your day more interesting are: Provide solutions to technical challenges and project needs Contribute to performance profiling, troubleshooting and production issue resolution Take part in planning by helping the project management team define implementation approaches and providing time and effort estimates for planned tasks Provide consultancy on how processes, tools and platforms can be improved and which new technologies could be adopted Integrate user-facing elements with data coming from the server side Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Ensure application security by following secure coding practices, protecting sensitive data, and addressing common web vulnerabilities Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Support less-experienced engineers through pair programming, knowledge sharing and technical guidance Implement automations for repetitive or complex administrative tasks Deliver results according to agreed time-plans Test deliverables The ideal candidate would combine the following set of soft and hard skills: At least 3-4 years of hands-on professional experience in PHP and ability to convert an algorithm to a PHP solution (mandatory requirement that will be examined) Experience in Relational Databases with MySQL (mandatory requirement that will be examined) Good knowledge of SQL Experienced with RESTful APIs development and web services Good knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery Familiarity with versioning systems (preferably GIT) Experience with PHP frameworks will be considered a plus Private health insurance Continuous training and education for all your learning and development needs Remote working 2-3 days per week Alterlife Exclusive subscription deals Customer Discounts Competitive salary matching the candidate’s skills and experience Career development opportunities Dog friendly space Sleed goody bag upon arrival
