Job Description Work with and develop CMS back-ends utilizing CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Postgres, MySQL, and Git/GitHub. Independently develop and deploy code according to UX/Design specifications, W3C compliance standards, and browser compatibility either from scratch or within existing frameworks. Complete maintenance and feature development for existing web applications/websites. Build internal tools to help support other company’s departments. Produce technical and non-technical documentation for software solutions. Perform intermediate server management and Sysop tasks. Determine high-level functional and technical requirements of client projects. Oversee the technical / architectural concerns of client projects. Provide time estimates for projects and tasks. Lead technically focused meetings. Participate in project planning and tactical direction. Build complex web applications either from scratch or within existing frameworks. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher (or foreign equivalent) in IT, Computer Science or closely related field, plus one year of experience in the job offered or as web developer. Must have experience leveraging PHP technology for back-end development along with experience in database management. Must also have experience writing and integrating code using Golang and JavaScript. May work remotely 50% of the time.
