Join Our Team as a Back-end Software Engineer at Inventi! Inventi is a fast-growing fintech shaping the future of digital payments and compliance. Our solutions - from secure Payment Gateways to Regulatory Compliance tools and PLAIS connectors - help financial institutions operate safely, efficiently, and at scale. We don’t just write code - we design, build, and grow long-term products that solve real fintech problems. We are looking for a Back-end Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin) who is eager to build reliable, scalable, and secure fintech products. You’ll join a cross-functional squad, where engineers, product managers, and analytics work closely together to deliver real value to our customers. You’ll be writing production-ready code in the JVM ecosystem, shaping technical decisions, and contributing to the long-term evolution of Inventi’s platforms. What you’ll do: Develop and maintain core components of our payments and compliance products. Write clean, tested, and well-structured code that directly impacts how businesses operate. Collaborate with your product team to design, implement, and release new features. Contribute to architectural decisions on microservices, event-driven systems, and scalability. Continuously improve existing systems, ensuring performance, resilience, and security. Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development and quality. About you: 2+ years of experience in JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, or similar). Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot, Maven, RDBMS & SQL, Git. A passion for clean code, testing, and modern development practices like SOLID, design patterns, etc. Familiarity with containerization (Docker), distributed systems and event-driven architecture. Bonus points for experience with Kafka, Kubernetes or Google Cloud. Curiosity and a proactive mindset: you don’t just write code, you want to understand the product impact behind it. What we offer: Real impact in a fast growing fintech. Continuous learning: access to courses, conferences, and books. Team culture: events, sports challenges, team-building. Flexible & remote work: enjoy flexible hours and remote work options. Private health insurance and optional 3rd pillar pension contributions. Little perks that make a difference: pet-friendly office, snacks, and a lot of ways to take a break - from board to digital. Competitive gross salary starting from 3000 Eur per month (depending on your experience). 🔓 Unlock your value. Lead decisions, challenge ideas, and power the infrastructure of modern finance. Ready to make your move? Apply now or reach out directly - we’re excited to meet you!
