POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Back End Team Leader will lead the operator’s team to provide high-quality cans with the lowest spoilage at required production efficiencies and provide cans in a safe, low, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable, highly efficient manner both from the Tooling and Machinery.

• Leading team briefs and communicating daily and monthly KPIs to the teams
• Providing regular reports to shift manager
• Supporting teams in solving problems with the close cooperation of the engineering team and front end team leader
• Control usage of parts/tools and maintenance spend to budget
• Provide innovative sustainable, cost-saving plans
• Develop maintenance and overhaul procedures for back end equipment
• Work with maintenance software/schedules
• Understand and support the printing process, inside spray and necker process
• To plan and manage back end and downgauging projects with the engineering team
• To manage improvement projects in the back end
• Support and Implement SMED activities for improved efficiency
