Best Staff Solutions is the agent helping with the recruitment one of our clients in Ascot.
Currently we are looking for a BOH manager.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the hotel’s kitchen, back of house areas, and the full kitchen stewards’ team (kitchen porters and night BOH/FOH cleaners)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in BOH, cleaning, or facilities supervision.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Working knowledge of COSHH, HACCP, and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate the delivery of daily cleaning and stewarding operations in all BOH areas, including kitchens, pantries, corridors, waste areas and staff facilities.
  • Ensure all scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning tasks (including deep cleaning) are carried out to the required standard and within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor, monitoring standards, resolving issues, and supporting the team as needed.
  • Liaise with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure porterage services (equipment handling, deliveries, refuse collection, dishwashing) run efficiently and meet operational needs.
  • Manage staff rotas, attendance, performance, and training.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to health and safety regulations, including
  • COSHH, HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Oversee stock control and equipment maintenance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Executive Chef, senior kitchen team
  • and hotel management for all BOH-related matters.
  • Attend client meetings, contribute to service reviews and respond promptly to
  • feedback or concerns.
  • Ensure strong, professional communication across all levels of the team and client stakeholders.
