Description Seeking a friendly, organized and motivated MA for a fast paced Urgent Care. *Hourly rate will be based on the level of experience. Urgent Care or back office experience is a plus. Responsibilities and Duties Excellent customer service skills are a must. Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions. Demonstrate compassion to patients. Ability to calm upset patients and resolve their issues. Perform other assigned duties or those within the scope of an MA. Place patients in exam rooms. Take vital signs and performs all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level. Assist and set up providers during examination, treatment, and procedures Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the medical provider. Stock rooms with required supplies Keep equipment operating Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment Conduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind with dealing with patients, visitors, the public and all colleagues Operate and maintain all equipment in or pertaining to the clinical areas for daily use, safekeeping, and functionality Keep exam rooms between patients and other common areas clean. Hourly Range: $16.50-$21.50 Requirements Qualifications MA Certification (Required) CPR-BLS (Required) Language English (Required) Spanish (Preferred) Education High School Diploma or GED (required)
Responsibilities
