Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Back Office Supervisor to lead our back-office operations with a focus on customs procedures and documentation. This role is essential in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and smooth communication across internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will supervise a team of specialists and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative logistics processes. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the team of back-office specialists, ensuring task allocation and performance monitoring. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customs-related transactions and documentation. Assist in resolving disputes or delays related to customs clearance, collaborating with customs brokers and relevant authorities. Provide ongoing support to the logistics and customer service teams regarding customs-related queries. Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to optimize customs clearance procedures. Ensure proper use of customs software and adherence to relevant procedures and deadlines. Communicate effectively with both internal teams and international partners. Qualifications At least 2 -3 years experience in a back-office, logistics, or supply chain role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or coordination position. Solid knowledge of customs clearance processes and related documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant customs or ERP software. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Greek and English. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
