Our client, one of the big 5 banks in Canada, is looking to hire several back office investment operations officers to help support their corporate head office located in the downtown Toronto area on a hybrid basis.
Please note - this is a hybrid role, with the expectations of the candidate being able to go into the office 1-2 times a month.
This role provides end-to-end support for the banks clients mutual funds, ETFs, segregated funds, term investments, and savings products for internal and external stakeholders. Delivering operational processes and providing after-sales support to the personal wealth and asset management businesses and stakeholders. Areas of operational expertise include Broker/Dealer and Private Bank support, Asset Management, Investment Funds, and Life Insurance.

As a Processing Officer, you will play a key role in managing and executing daily operational tasks within a structured ticketing and data management environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ticket Management & Workflow Execution
  • Navigate and resolve items from a ticketing queue using internal platforms
  • Review and process documentation, audit files, and respond to various ticket types including escalations, general inquiries, and audit requests
  • Data Entry & System Updates
  • Accurately input and update data across internal systems
  • Track incoming requests and categorize them by type (e.g., escalation, audit, general question)
  • Productivity & Task Completion
  • Complete a designated number of items per day based on assigned workload
  • Meet daily productivity goals by efficiently managing time and task prioritization
  • ✅ Quality Assurance & Auditing
  • Conduct audits of files and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and attention to detail
