This role reports to an assigned Shift Supervisor in the Mine Operations Department.

Responsibilities
  • Support safe and efficient achievement of production targets through operation of underground mining equipment
  • Manual labor including clean-up/shoveling, scaling, bolting, operating equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, piling materials, adding and reclaiming hardware, hanging cables, installing line brattice for ventilation, setting up extensible belts, and other duties as required
  • Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place
  • Participate in safety meetings and inspections in compliance with all Nutrien procedures and policies
  • Shift work of days/nights and weekends
