Job Vacancy: Backend API Integration Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary Range: AED 18,000 – 25,000/month
Job Type: Full-time, On-site

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years experience in backend API development and integration
• Proficient in Python (FastAPI/Flask) or Node.js
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, webhooks
• Experience with health data APIs, wearable integrations, and EHR systems
• Familiarity with Docker and Git

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or other medical data exchange formats
• Background in healthtech, IoT, or regulated software

• Integrate with APIs such as Open mHealth, Infermedica, Apple HealthKit, and FHIR-based systems
• Develop internal APIs to support frontend and simulation workflows
• Implement authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT) and secure data flow
• Normalize and validate data from external medical sources
• Collaborate with the Data Engineer and Full-Stack Lead
