JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our command-and-control software connects all echelons within a military organization for mission planning and execution. Our software integrates with our radio equipment offering a turnkey battle management solution.
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our Communications Planning Application (CPA) and MissionOps Software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in object-oriented programming and a commitment to excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in Software Development.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in C#/.NET programming.
• Experience with RESTful API’s.
• Some experience with full stack development, using React or Angular.
• Experience with Bitbucket, DOORs, Visual Studio, Installshield.
• Familiarity with databases.
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins).
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Agile Scrum Master certifications or experience.
  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $83,000 - $154,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. • Conduct research, design, and development of application software for desktop and multi-tier architectures.
• Draft and scrutinize software requirements to guide design within specified time and budget constraints.
• Execute coding, perform unit testing, and conduct peer reviews to ensure software integrity.
• Address and rectify software defects, enhancing quality and fulfilling customer expectations.
• Actively participate in Agile software development process as a dedicated member of an Agile Scrum team.
• Adhere to software development protocols in a disciplined CMMI Level 3 environment with minimal travel requirements (less than 5%).
