REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages (our projects primarily use JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, and Kotlin/Java)
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Solid understanding of cloud architectures and infrastructure as code
• Experience with serverless environments (Cloud Run, AppEngine flexible)
• Working knowledge of database technologies (NoSQL and/or relational databases, Redis)
• Ability to design appropriate data models for different database technologies
• Experience with containerization technologies and their building blocks
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for reproducible builds
• Skills in debugging and troubleshooting production environments

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• AWS, GCP or Azure certifications
• Knowledge of scalable system architecture
• Experience mentoring junior developers

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Mid to Senior level Backend, Cloud and Integration Developer to join our team as a consultant working directly with our clients. In this role, you will be a critical part of our backend team, whose main responsibility is ensuring that the apps impacting people’s lives every day have a rock-solid technical foundation.
Don’t worry about pixels or UI animations – we’ve got talented designers and app developers who love those challenges! We’re looking for someone who gets excited about building the powerful engines beneath the surface: rock-solid architectures, efficient APIs, and scalable systems that keep our beautiful apps running flawlessly.
You’ll develop new features, define architectures for new systems, implement updates to existing systems, and collaborate closely with clients and our global teams to deliver high-quality solutions that millions of users depend on. As we continue to explore cutting-edge technologies, you’ll also have opportunities to work with AI and other emerging technologies that are reshaping how mobile applications function and deliver value.
