Java Backend Developer • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong track record of delivering successful projects. • In-depth knowledge of Java programming language, object-oriented design principles, design patterns and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream, or others commonly used in enterprise-level applications. • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including topics, producers, consumers, brokers, and stream processing. • Solid understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture, particularly in the context of Kafka. • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. • Proven experience with databases, both relational databases and no relational database such as MySQL and MongoDB and writing optimized queries. • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, ensuring security and scalability. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern CI/CD development tools. • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum). Compensation, Benefits and Duration Minimum Compensation: USD 48,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
