The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a Backend Developer / Engineer to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008. Period: ASAP to 2026-04-06 (full-time), with a possibility of extension. About the role DataEx team is at the heart of data processing, scheduling and orchestrating data workflows to run like a heart pumps blood. And as with a heart, when something in the processing doesn’t work, it’s the heart that shows the users that something is not working. Historically, DataEx has managed the orchestration and scheduling of data pipelines and owned the developer data experience. This has led to the team being heavily involved in daily internal user support, which requires a deep understanding of data pipelines, our client's backend systems, and unique data ecosystem. This support is critical for the smooth operation of the company and is in high demand. To meet this demand and streamline our processes, our client are seeking to enhance user support through innovative solutions, including AI tools and improved documentation to enable self-service for common user queries. Who you are The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong blend of data engineering and backend experience Having a highly analytical approach, and a user-focused mindset with genuine compassion for internal users Creativity is key to identifying and implementing solutions like AI-driven tools or documentation improvements that not only provide immediate support but also offer long-term solutions to reduce the team's ongoing burden.
