ABOUT THE ROLE

Join us as a Backend Developer, where you’ll immediately contribute to the high-impact Marvel project while helping to architect and scale future solutions—especially those leveraging .NET/C#—in our evolving tech ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs using Java and AWS Lambda, ensuring high performance and scalable architecture.
  • Optimise and manage MySQL databases, focusing on schema design, indexing, and query performance to drive system reliability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend developers, UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code, championing best practices like TDD, code reviews, and pair programming.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production issues with urgency and composure, maintaining uptime and user satisfaction.
  • Proactively contribute to architectural discussions, technical roadmap planning, and shape scalable solutions for future .NET/C# projects.
