For our client, we are seeking a Java Developer to join a team responsible for the development and maintenance of advanced backend applications. We are looking for someone with experience in designing and creating modern Java-based solutions who wants to have a real impact on the development of systems critical to the operation of aviation infrastructure.

Working mode: Remote

Your tasks

• Development and maintenance of backend applications in accordance with the adopted architecture and design standards.
• Active participation in team work carried out using the Scrum methodology, including sprint planning, refinements and other ceremonies.
• Verifying code quality by participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to environments and applications.
• Selection of appropriate technologies and solutions to support the achievement of project goals.
• Creation and ongoing updating of technical documentation.
• Ensuring the stable operation of business systems through the installation, configuration and maintenance of environments and applications.

Our expectations:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in programming backend applications in Java.
• You are very familiar with Java (8 or newer), Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
• You have experience working with relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• You create unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Spock, TestContainers and WireMock.
• You are familiar with REST and SOAP technologies and have experience in creating or integrating services based on these standards.
• You can use Docker to build and run Java applications in container environments.
• You feel comfortable working in accordance with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• You speak English at a level that allows you to work freely with technical documentation.

Welcome:
