  • Own and evolve our backend: codebase, infrastructure, data pipelines, and architecture
  • Dive into our mature Java/Spring codebase, understand it deeply, and make it better
  • Ship new features that power real-world recruiting workflows
  • Refactor and modernize where needed—without breaking things
  • Manage production infrastructure and optimize for performance and cost
  • Move fast and collaborate directly with the founder and product team

  • Have experience taking over and improving mature codebases
  • Know Java + Spring Boot like the back of your hand
  • Are comfortable balancing speed with stability
  • Can make smart tradeoffs between refactoring and shipping
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment

  • You need perfect specs or heavy documentation
