The BDC Infrastructure organization is looking for people to help with our next generation cloud architecture, with a focus on back-end topics involving building and managing microservices at scale. • xperience with microservice architecture, back-end design principles, software development best practicesE
• xperience using or operating HANA or HANA Cloud for web applicationsE
• xperience doing some of the following:B
• uilding containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, HelmC
• reating CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, xMake (internal)L
• everaging Cloud Monitoring tooling for operating services (Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry)M
• anaging other specialized services (Postgres, Redis, HANA, Airflow, Envoy, Kong, Vault) using infrastructure related tooling such as Helm, Terraform, Ansible

• egree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering, or something equivalent2
• or more years of professional software development experienceE
• xperience developing production web services preferably using Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, GoE
• xperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry or Gardener using Kubernetes, or other cloud native deployment solutions.E
• xperience working in a cloud environment and the challenges that come involving high availability, scalability, performance, observability, security, testability, etcE
• xperience troubleshooting and debugging complex software systems in production environments to resolve issues and follow up with recommendations through root cause analysisS
