MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent engineering degree that includes software development
• 3+ years’ experience as a backend developer.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Expertise in SQL databases, Java, Python, Node.
• Experience with git source code control, code review tools, etc

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the VP of Digital Health Technology, the Backend Developer will be responsible for the design and development of backend services as part of the Vitalograph Digital Health Platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services as part of a complete digital heath system.
• Designing and implementing server-side logic by building the backend infrastructure that powers applications and APIs.
• Creating, managing, and optimizing databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Designing and maintaining (RESTful or GraphQL) APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend.
• Develop standalone backend services which powers a plug-and-play platform
• Collaborate with Apps and web engineers to ensure seamless integration of all components.
• Design and implement real-time services using C#, .NET, SQL Server, Java, Python, Node
• Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of backend services.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure that all work and tasks carried out are consistent and compliant with Vitalograph’s SOPs.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to industry standards and best practice
