What You’ll Do
As a Backend Engineer on our team, you will focus on building and maintaining internal applications and automation tools that enhance operational efficiency. You’ll work closely within the team, and with other engineers all through the organization, to develop scalable, high-performance back-end systems that support our financial solutions. This role involves significant work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
Successful Backend Engineer’s at Investortools apply meticulous analytical thinking to assess complex challenges, identify alternative strategies, and rapidly transform ideas into effective designs. Collaboration is key, as you will work across disciplines, leveraging your ability to clearly communicate complex information both in writing and in person. Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in back-end development, automation, and system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including compute, storage, and networking solutions.
  • Knowledge of APIs, web services, and data pipelines.
  • Meticulous analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively across disciplines with excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
