WHAT DO YOU POSSESS AS A JUNIOR/MEDIOR BACKEND ENGINEER?

We are actively seeking individuals with positive energy. If you thrive on effective communication, both within your team and with stakeholders, then you may be the perfect fit for our team. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• University degree in computer science or technical degree with a few years of engineering experience.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Experience with our technology stack, which includes Java Spring Boot and Kubernetes. Knowledge of Rust or Go is considered a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs
• A team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive attitude, and eager to take on the challenge of devising solutions to complex challenges.
• Organizational and time management skills with experience in delivering on deadlines and milestones are a strong plus.
• Eagerness to acquire new technical skills and stay up to date with emerging trends.
• Language-agnostic approach to software engineering.
• Experience in the health-tech industry would be a plus.

Your primary responsibilities as a back-end engineer at Formelio will include:

• Collaborating seamlessly with your agile team during sprint cycles.
• Partnering with software architects to conceive and develop new applications supporting Formelio’s ecosystem.
• Crafting and maintaining microservices utilizing the latest technology stack.
• Implementing robust DevOps pipelines to automate deployments to our Kubernetes clusters.
• Working on complex interoperability problems with different source systems.
