We’re hiring a Backend Engineer (Golang) to help build and scale the APIs and services that bring the Targon ecosystem to life. You’ll work on performance-critical systems, optimize infrastructure, and develop new features from scratch. You’ll be focused on:

• Developing and maintaining API layers for various services
• Benchmarking existing and new services to identify bottlenecks and optimizations
• Creating new services and applications to expand the Targon platform

IDEAL EXPERIENCES

• Proficiency with Golang for backend development
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and tooling
• Strong background with Wireguard and Unix/Linux systems
• Experience with performance and load testing tools like K6

BONUS SKILLS

• Experience optimizing database performance and designing scalable architectures
• Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Discord, Notion and Linear for modern team collaboration
