This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2500000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 25-30 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to build and enhance scalable backend systems powering AI-driven workflows and real-time communication services. This role involves developing high-performance APIs, integrating with external systems, and contributing to architectural evolution in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and leadership to design resilient systems and continuously improve platform performance, observability, and deployment practices. Key Responsibilities Implement and enhance features within a multi-agent AI workflow engine Build and optimize real-time telephony and conversation-processing services Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and third-party integrations, including dealer management systems Participate in code reviews and uphold high engineering standards Improve system observability, monitoring, and reliability Contribute to deployment workflows and infrastructure improvements Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evolve system architecture and scalability Required Skills Strong proficiency in Python and/or Node.js Experience working with LLM-based systems or AI-driven applications Hands-on experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases Solid understanding of backend system design and API architecture Familiarity with infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system monitoring Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Core Skills Python Node.js LLM Integration MongoDB Backend APIs Infrastructure & Deployment
