Role Description

Backend Developer to manage and extend a production backend system built with Node.js and

NestJS. The backend powers mobile applications involving authentication, financial

transactions, third-party integrations, and secure data processing. This role requires strong backend fundamentals and careful handling of business-critical systems. Responsibilities include implementing software solutions, working with programming languages, ensuring database performance, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements seamlessly. You will also ensure code quality and actively troubleshoot production issues as they arise, contributing to scalable and robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Work with relational databases and ORM tools
• Design, update, and maintain database schemas and migrations
• Integrate and manage third-party services and APIs
• Ensure data consistency and reliability for transaction-based systems
• Handle error management, logging, and monitoring
• Support deployment and runtime issues in production
• Worked crypto/ wallet / card as a program project
• Work with AWS-based infrastructure
• Manage environment configurations and secrets securely
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Use Git for version control and collaborate via pull requests

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of backend development in crypto space
• Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with ORMs (TypeORM or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience implementing authentication systems (JWT, tokens, etc.)
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployments
• Understanding of production backend monitoring and debugging
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial systems
• Knowledge of third-party payment or KYC integrations
• Experience working with transaction-heavy or high-reliability systems
• Experience CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure best practices
