QUALIFICATIONS

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.Responsibilities:- Responsible for the design and implementation of industry-leading distributed database systems using cloud-native architecture.- Conduct deep dive analysis and optimisation of underlying systems and engine components, to address issues related to availability and performance of large-scale production clusters.- Design and build high-performance systems from zero to one, integrating hardware and software design to build an ultimate system with understanding of the business and cloud-native architecture.- Stay updated with cutting-edge database technologies; identify opportunities for the implementation of new technologies including new hardware, intelligent optimizers, and lakehouse architectures.- Explore and implement integration of AI/LLM technologies with databases, including areas such as multimodal data analysis, AI-driven database operations and maintenance automation, and AI Agent-based intelligent assistants.
