Job Description Get to know the role We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to develop and maintain scalable backend systems, manage and ensure the accuracy of data, and optimise system performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems and services that power our core platform. If you are passionate about backend architecture and distributed systems, we would love to hear from you! The Critical Tasks You Will Perform You will develop and maintain the backend services of our core platform, including but not limited to designing and optimising data storage, data processing, and data distribution strategies. You are responsible for designing and optimising backend service APIs, continuously monitor and enhance service stability and performance. You will write high-quality, concise, and maintainable code, and maintain relevant technical documentation. Communicate and collaborate with placeholders and Product Managers (PM) to discuss technical solutions and requirements. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering etc. Has experience in video processing, understands the encoding and decoding of different video formats Preferably has video streaming experience, is familiar with mainstream streaming protocols in the industry Has experience in building low-latency video streaming services.
