JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating backhoes and other heavy equipment to assist in various construction and excavation projects. The Backhoe Operator will be responsible for executing tasks efficiently and safely while adhering to all operational guidelines.

EXPERIENCE

• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is preferred.
• Experience in commercial driving is a plus.
• Knowledge of paving techniques and horizontal drilling operations is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing job site conditions.

• Operate backhoe equipment for digging, trenching, and grading tasks.
• Perform horizontal drilling as required for utility installation.
• Utilize bulldozers, graders, and loaders as needed for site preparation and maintenance.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working condition through regular inspections and servicing.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within safety regulations.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators regarding project requirements and progress.
