OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Food Manager to oversee our Bacon and Gammon production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices, ensuring that all processes meet the highest standards. This role requires a blend of leadership, organisational skills, and technical knowledge to maintain efficient operations while promoting a safe and productive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in food production management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP principles.
  • Ensuring all orders are completed in full and within our time deadlines.
  • Basic maths skills for inventory management and recipe calculations.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders / tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team towards achieving operational goals.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the workplace.
