GTRSG provides a comprehensive range of ground handling services such as; guest handling, baggage services and aircraft handling.
Key Responsibilities

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Duty Manager (Baggage), you are responsible to assist and support the Baggage Service Crew

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure efficient sorting, retagging and/or tagging of bags and transferring them to correct trolleys and containers
• Supervise all staff handling baggage and ensure that all baggage is properly and accurately loaded into correct containers/trolleys
• Ensure that there are sufficient containers/trolleys to handle flights
• Ensure that containers and doors/flaps are properly secured and baggage is towed to the correct aircraft on time
• Ensure that all containers and trolleys are correctly and legibly labelled before use
• Brief all contract staff assigned to the flights on their duties and special requirements for the flights
• Ensure that all discharged baggage is accurately, properly and speedily offloaded onto the correct arrival conveyor belts. Ensure that transit baggage is reloaded into the transfer containers
• Ensure that all fragile and odd-sized items are handled with care
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors
