Description Job Summary Provides excellent customer service and assistance at the check stand; provides carry out service of customers’ purchases. Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service. Bags customer purchases, carries them out and loads them into vehicle. Performs price checks. Sorts and returns items to normal shelf location with priority given to refrigerated and perishable items. Collects shopping carts from parking lot. Maintains a safe and clean environment. Ensures front entrance areas and common public areas such as walkways and vestibules are clean, dry and safe. Replenishes supplies such as bags and trash liners at check stand Performs other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Works in a non-smoking store environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc. Works outside in all weather conditions to retrieve carts and assist customers. Equipment Operated Tablet Grocery Carts Grocery Cart Harness Requirements Education And Experience (E = Essential D = Desired) High school education or equivalent or current enrollment is required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Interpersonal skills Verbal communication skills Attention to detail Physical Requirements Bending Standing Communication (Verbal) Carrying 50lbs.
