Description Overview of the Position: Farmer Joe’s Fresh Market is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and engaging individual to join our growing family! In this position, supervisors are accountable for being part of the overall success of the daily customer service operations. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently and accurately bag groceries for customers at checkout. Ensure that products are bagged according to safety guidelines (e.g., separating fragile items, heavy products, and perishable goods). Assist customers by providing friendly, prompt, and courteous service. Help carry bags to customers’ cars, if required. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the bagging station and surrounding areas. Assist in keeping the store shelves stocked and organized as needed. Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance with product information. Perform other tasks as needed, such as assisting with returns or helping in other departments. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions. Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same. High standard of integrity and reliability. Bagger experience preferred. Requirements Required Skills / Abilities: · Displays strong creative background, able to suggest alternatives, and be open to suggestion. · Must display strong leadership skills. · Able to verbally give clear instructions in a respectful, professional manner. · Create a motivational environment. · Excellent attention to details. · Demonstrate ability to work independently, be an organized, creative self-starter and efficient in a constantly evolving environment. · Ability to manage and successfully manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical Requirements: · Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining focus and precision · Capability to lift and move heavy items (up to 40 lbs) · Skilled in both gross and fine manipulation · Peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy · Effectively hear and respond to instructions in a bustling environment · Manual dexterity · Use of step-stools and ladders as needed · Reaching above, at, and below waist level · Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move fluidly around · Comfortable working in diverse temperatures (hot, humid, cold) and tolerating moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents · Able to handle a wide variety of fresh ingredients without adverse allergic reactions · Maintain stability and balance while executing tasks efficiently · Convey instructions clearly and communicate with team members effectively, even in busy or noisy environments
