This is a full time position that suits someone with experience working in a fast paced environment in the early morning hours as shifts start as early as 3:00am. *Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Responsibilities The baker's primary responsibilities include baking, merchandising and packaging goods such as bagels, croissants, cookies and other pastries. This will include loading carts and racks with product; lifting and stacking flour; and operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, and mixers while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. They will also assist the bakery clerks and provide world-class service to our guests as needed. Qualifications You should meet the following requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess basic math skills Must have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage Excellent customer service skills A positive attitude is essential!
