Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, loaves, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure the quality and consistency of products
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and order baking supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 30kgs (flour and dough)
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred
- Required: Knowledge of bread (yeasted and sourdough), desserts, and pastry. 2 years minimum.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 5 am- 3 pm. Benefits after 3 months.
