JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Bakery Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our food production process, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality baked goods and pastries that exceed guest expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in scratch baking, food handling, and customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in bakery production including scratch baking.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of how to produce a variety of goods including cakes, batters, doughs, custards, and frostings
  • Basic cake decorating skills are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • A passion for food production and an eagerness to learn new techniques in cake decorating and culinary arts.

Responsibilities

  • Package finished products for sale, maintaining freshness and visual appeal.

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients and addressing their needs.
