JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Baker. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the bakery team in producing high quality baked goods in our production kitchen. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other team members to deliver exceptional products to our customers. This job is located at Snyder’s Family Farm in Bright, On. You MUST have your own transportation to the farm, there is no public transportation to the farm. This is a seasonal position for the months of September and October. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Shifts can be up to 12 hours in length, so you must be able to stand for long periods of time.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in decorating techniques with a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, particularly in the food industry.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, physically fit.
  • Strong skills in food preparation and cooking methods.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Experience in baking various types of desserts and pastries is a plus.
