EXPERIENCE

  • Valid Food Safe Certificate.
  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Skills in cake decorating and creative presentation are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting - team mentality.
  • Experience with food handling practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a wide range of products including cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and squares.
  • Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Decorate cakes and other baked goods up to quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area according to food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs while preparing orders.
