JOB SUMMARY

Cafe O’Lei at The Plantation is seeking a baker to join our team! Our baker is responsible for our breads, pizza dough and desserts. We offer a flexible schedule and a positive work environment.
Compensation is base pay plus a kitchen appreciation fee that is distributed to all BOH employees and is dependent on experience – average is an additional $3-$6 per hour

SKILLS

  • Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and decoration of baked items.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
  • Experience in meal preparation within the food industry, particularly in a bakery setting.
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fine dining or high-volume environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes or improving existing ones.
